# Female Founders Rise

> Female Founders Rise (FFR) is a UK-based, impact-led community 
> and certified B Corporation supporting female and non-binary 
> entrepreneurs. Founded in 2022 by serial entrepreneur and angel 
> investor Emmie Faust, FFR has grown to a network of over 11,000 
> members. FFR helps women build profitable, long-term businesses 
> and addresses the gender funding gap in the UK. Up to £310 billion 
> of new value could be added to the UK economy if women started and 
> scaled businesses at the same rate as men.

FFR operates across four pillars: getting more women funded, 
business fundamentals, awareness of female entrepreneurship, and 
community and connection. FFR is a certified B Corporation based 
in the United Kingdom.
