When I first heard about BCorp about 5 years ago, it totally resonated with me.
I always knew that my next business would be a BCorp, as I believe that we can use our businesses as a force for good in the world and create positive change.
WHY DID WE BECOME A BCORP?
Female Founders Rise is dedicated to achieving financial freedom for women through entrepreneurship by empowering them to build long-term, profitable, and impactful businesses.
Pursuing B Corp® certification was a natural progression towards our vision of an equitable entrepreneurial system, aligning with our belief that women-led businesses are crucial in creating a fairer and environmentally conscious world. The B Corp framework provides the necessary accountability and tools to measure and improve our social and environmental performance.
Our commitment to empowering female founders directly supports UN Sustainable Development Goal 5: Gender Equality by providing vital resources, mentorship, and networks. Furthermore, our focus on resilient and sustainable ventures contributes to SDG 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth, while we also promote SDG 12: Responsible Consumption and Production within our community.
Becoming a Certified B Corporation® underscores our dedication to using our business as a force for good, connecting us with a global network focused on the triple bottom line and providing a framework for continuous improvement towards a more sustainable future.
OUR BCORP SCORE
We earned an overall score of 95.2. The median score for ordinary businesses that complete the assessment is currently 50.9.
WHAT IS B CORP CERTIFICATION?
It means we’ve voluntarily met stringent standards for social and environmental performance, accountability, and transparency, verified by the independent non-profit B Lab. This isn’t just a badge we wear; it’s a fundamental belief in how we operate at FFR
We believe that business can and should be a force for good.
The B Corp framework provides us with a roadmap and a community to continually strive for positive impact across all aspects of our business, from how we treat our employees and source our materials to our engagement with the local community and our environmental footprint. It’s about building a better future, together.

Our B Corp certification isn’t a one-time achievement – we’ll be re-certified every 3 years.
Looking ahead, we aim to continue to expand on our work to support and empower female founders to build businesses that are a force for good.

Support women to access the funding that they need
Support women with the resources that they need to grow their businesses
