Female Founders Rise is a UK-based community supporting female and non-binary founders to build profitable businesses through skills-based programmes, events, and resources.
From first idea to first raise - we help early-stage founders get funded, grow with confidence, and connect with a community that gets it.
Female Founders Rise is a certified B Corporation founded in 2022 by serial entrepreneur and angel investor Emmie Faust. With a network of over 11,000 members across the UK, we support female and non-binary founders from pre-revenue to £1M through the Fundraising Accelerator, the B2B Chapter, the Personal Branding Challenge, and our Summit Series events in London, Cardiff, and Manchester.
Our programmes are built around four pillars: getting more women funded, business fundamentals, awareness of female entrepreneurship, and community and connection.
Our Programmes
Female Founders Rise runs outcome-led programmes designed to give founders the skills, networks, and confidence to grow and raise investment.
Fundraising Accelerator
A 6-month programme for female and non-binary founders who are raising or planning to raise investment within the next three months. Combines an 8-week intensive of weekly virtual sessions with four months of ongoing support, investor access, and pitch practice.
B2B Chapter
A membership community for B2B founders focused on building business connections, generating referrals, and creating content. Includes monthly virtual networking, exclusive WhatsApp groups, and a shared member directory.
Personal Branding Challenge
A 30-day challenge helping founders build and grow their personal brand on LinkedIn. Designed to increase visibility, attract clients, and support fundraising through consistent, high-value content.
Events
Female Founders Rise runs in-person events across the UK, bringing together founders, investors, and experts.
Summit Series
Full-day conferences held in London, Cardiff, and Manchester. Each Summit features networking, expert workshops on topics including AI and marketing, and reverse pitching - where investors pitch to founders, not the other way round.
Community Meetups and Masterclasses
Regular in-person meetups and online masterclasses giving founders practical tools, peer advice, and direct access to industry experts across the UK.
Research and Insight
Female Founders Rise commissions and publishes research into female entrepreneurship in the UK.
The Rise Report
One of the largest grassroots studies of female founders ever conducted in the UK. Based on research from 2,225 founders, representing £1 billion in annual turnover. Conducted by Nottingham Business School in collaboration with WholeSum and supported by Barclays.
Key finding: 45% of founders cited funding as a primary obstacle. Explore the full data at therisereport.co.uk.
Our Mission
We exist to close the gender funding gap and create a world where entrepreneurial opportunities are equally accessible to all.
Up to £310 billion of new value could be added to the UK economy if women started and scaled businesses at the same rate as men.
